Change is beautiful floating leaves
This card has a window sheet floating OVER beautiful seasonal leaves. Fall is my favorite season with all the warm colors and tones. This is a fun way to add dimension and interest to your card.

Can't decide which side of the beautiful paper to use? Show it off with four small folds on the front of your card! I've seen and made cards using this technique before, but I often struggled to keep the folds even. I've discovered a little trick that has made this technique more consistent and a latte more fun!
Do you remember playing Duck, Duck, Goose as a kid? These four cards can be made by a group of people together, taking turns going round the table. I call it "social stamping" and it is so much fun! You can also make these cards alone, and that is fun too! A huge thank you to Kristina Baldwin who inspired this social stamping adventure!
Do you ever feel like you should "Do more?" Well, less is more applies to cards as well as life. This fun fold lets the paper do all the work and the fall tones in this "Thoughtful Journey" DSP are just beautiful! A thank you to Lori Brausen for teaching me this fun fold in a recent stamp camp and also to Janice Neil for motivating me to post today!
I needed some fall birthday cards, and didn't have a lot of time. This paper made it easy, but I think you could also use fun fall photos of your own as the background!
I love the look of the folded "fan" die cut! Whether you consider it a foliage of some kind or just a decorative fan, it's so fun to snip the blades and fold them! I love the pretty peacock addition to the vase and copper clay is my favorite in-color, so the bow just makes me happy as it adds a little texture. I struggled a bit deciding how to do my flower, but I think many things would work.. .a single flower like this or a bouquet! Make it your own pretty fall decor.
